Xshell is a full-featured terminal emulator to access remote servers and services on your network and even further away. On way of using the possibilities of this package is to build a SSH connection to a router or a switch on your network to change some configuration settings.
Xshell features a friendly interface and the options are ordered in pretty obvious way. It offers different services and supports several protocols. It was specially developed to be a terminal emulator with compatibilities for SSH1, SSH2, SFTP, TELNET, RLOGIN and SERIAL. In other words: it emulates a console for this services and in this way it provides a secure connection. It supports multiple users settings, as well as OpenSSH, and features a Keep-Alive option. You can add rules to already established sessions, dynamically forward ports using SOCKS4 and 5 and a lot more.
