Writespace

Elsewhere on Winportal we presented the freeware Dark Room which is a MAC OS X WriteRoom clone for Windows. Now, here we present another freeware writing environment, this time for Microsoft Word, also inspired by both the aforementioned applications, called Writespace.

Your writing background will be black, as you can preview looking at the images provided alongside this article. Furthermore, Writespace actually encompasses spell check support for English, German, Spanish and French.

So, this development has originated due to the author’s need for a Microsoft Word plugin and the aforementioned Dark Room application doesn’t provide MS Word integration nor spell checking functionality.

Once installed you start Writespace from the MS Word View ribbon where you can click the dedicated button. So, if you want to try this plugin, proceed to the download.
