Winamp is one of the most famous quality media players on the market, around since the early days of the internet as we know it now and one of the first to support the nowadays standard MP3 audio file format. Winamp has evolved during more than 15 years

AOL announced the Winamp website and downloads would be shut down at the end of the same year. Nevertheless, the site didn’t shut down and Winamp was bought by a Belgian online radio aggregator called Radionomy, who informed a new release is soon to come.
