It features support for the proprietary Microsoft Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) and Citrix ICA and also works for other DirectShow compatible devices, support for hardware image capture button, configuring outgoing FPS and compressions rate, custom video resolution settings and it will work with messengers such as Skype and ICQ, among others.

Webcam for Remote Desktop furthermore doesn’t need manufacturer drivers on the remote side and allows sharing one webcam between multiple applications simultaneously as well as redirecting one to several remote sessions at the same time.
