VideoLAN Movie Creator is a powerful video editing software developed by the VideoLAN team, the same creators as of the VLC Media Player. This application is based on the VLC library (libVLC) and includes a wide range of video editing tools. VideoLAN Movie Creator allows you to work wide different file types, including MP4, HDV, DivX, MPEG-4 and AVCHD. This program includes tools for cropping, trimming and mounting files, as well as other more-advanced features. The program features a friendly and neat interface that allows you to work on your projects comfortably, and it even includes a wizard to get you started with some basic things.
