Sometimes you just want to clean up a bunch of files, for example to make room for a new big download that you want to do. Or you just need to make sure a new user of a computer will not read the articles an employee wrote before he left. Or just because you don't like them or don't need them anymore. Whatever the reason, before you delete anything, you should always check what you are throwing away. The problem is that this sometimes leads to a file that is being blocked for some unknown reason: a program or a service is still claiming its resources, even though the interface is closed. With Unlocker you can easily find that obstruction and shut down the service, after which you can do whatever you want with the archive.
This program is meant for everybody who at one time or another is bothered by the message [Cannot delete File or Folder: It is being used by another person or program]. All you have to do in that situation, is open the interface of Unlocker. You can do this by right-clicking on that folder and selecting [Unlocker]. The interface will now open, and you can immediately see which services are blocking your action. Simply shut down that service from here, and return to the Explorer. Your program is 'freed up'.
