Missing the classic Super Nintendo games? Who can forget about those exciting games that glued our eyes into screen? Well, now there is a possibility to revive those games. Snes9x is a SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) emulator, specially created to allow people to play the majority of game titles for this successful Nintendoconsole.

Play all those classics of classics, like Yoshi, Mario, Mortal Kombat, Zelda and so on. In order to start playing a game, you will need the game's information. These are stored in ROM-files, which can be found on Internet. After you've downloaded the correct ROM, just go to the File menu in Snes9x and select Load, then select the game you wish to load. This SNES emulator is capable of decompressing ZIP files in case of zipped up ROMs.

Snes9x allows you to save your games and restart them later, just as if you were using a real SNES. You can also customize the game controls and link up with other users through the internet.
