If you're using an older version of Microsoft Word, like MS Word 2000, 2002 or 2003, you might be interested in this add-in, called Read in Microsoft Reader, which will facilitate the creation of eBooks.
With the Read in Microsoft Reader add-in you can easily convert your MS Word documents into an ebook with the Microsoft Reader format and HTML, when you leave "Convert to Microsoft Reader Formatting" box checked.
You can include custom cover images and a linked TOC, standing for Table Of Contents, will be automatically generated for your ebook, when your original Word document contained a TOC. The latter can be easily created for your exiting Word documents. If you can't find the menu option, do a quick lookup in its help file and you will have your TOC in no time.
So, you can download this add-in if you want to add ebook creation functionality to your MS Word.
