"Get an Apple-like iCal calendar application"
Written By

MonoCalendar is a free calendar application that imitates Apple's iCal, whose author wanted to be available for other operating systems like Windows and Linux.

Among the features this application offers support for the creation of an unlimited number of groups of calendars, which can be defined by the user to suit its needs.

The graphical user interface gives a well-organized calendar as expected, it is a combination of simplicity and functionality.

Besides the possibility to choose whether one gets to see five or seven days in a week, one also has control over the number of hours shown.

There is support for drag and drop functionality to move around appointments, that will stay visible in the same window when changing calenders, but they get another transparency level for easy distinction.

Finally, ICS calendars are also supported.
