CodeWar

The freeware download offered here is called CodeWar. If you’re a programmer who likes related games, you might be up for a nice one. CodeWar is ported from the Linux simulator and it’s basically an engine capable of executing multiple processes simultaneously in the same virtual environment.

Programmers can compete by writing programs in any language and the goal is to see who can write the one that will exist the longest in this environment.

These programs are in fact robots competing against each other using missiles, cannons and other armaments. They will be executed simultaneously and communicate with the CodeWar simulator engine. Note that the robots are smart and can detect the others, as well as make up strategies to outsmart the code of other programmers.
