Camtasia Player

If your camera records videos in the AVI format and you just want to play your video files out of it, or if you just want to open video files that are in AVI format, this TechSmith player will probably interest you.

The purpose of Camtasia Player is very clear: playing AVI files. Nothing more, nothing less. As easy as that, so you don't need any tutorial to use this program. Just click on Open, browse your file and play it. There isn't even a help file because you won't need it.

Camtasia Player is a minimalistic player that doesn't consume too much resources. You will be shown a screen to play the video that can be set up as full screen. The other part of the interface will be a toolbar with the basic buttons for controlling the playback– the only ones that it has. Play, stop, rewind, forward, volume slider and repeat if you want to repeat the file automatically. If you don't want to get lost in too many buttons you won't need, this basic and small AVI player might be your best option.
