Everyone knows what a Nintendo64 is, but those who are between 20 and 30 years old, are the ones who better remember how cool a Nintendo64 really was. It was released in June 1996, and was promoted with Super Mario 64 and PilotWings 64, two classics. That brings back memories, rights? But your old console is probably in your basement, covered in dust, and even if it still is working, you don't want to go through all the trouble of trying to find those games again. If you want to relive these memories, then try this application. Project64 is a Nintendo64 emulator that runs on Windows computers.
Project64 installs really easy and features a simple interface, so you won't have problems learning what does what. Install the application and select a ROM. ROMs are archives containing the games and there are lot of websites offering free downloadable ROMs. You can configure the controls anyway you like, and the audio and video are (almost) identical to the original.
