Picasa is Google´s desktop application designed to create, edit and organize photos. It is between the most popular programs of its type thanks to its complete range of features, which now brings new possibilities that will enrich management and all available functions in both online and offline ways.

People who need additional space for storage usually pay considered amounts to increase their hosted space, but thanks to Picasa they will not have to spend anymore, as it provides 1GB of storage space.

That`s not it, Picasa offers a diversity of innovative effects. You can sharpen edges in a photo, convert a photo to sepia style, make a photo black and white, boost warm tones in a photo, add film grain, soften focus around a centre point, etc.

You can create photo albums by just making a single click and publish online to share them with the entire world. You can even create slideshows out of your own photos and add videos on them.

There`s a new feature to add Name Tags on photos, that way you will quickly find any of them. This feature can also detect faces in all photos. You can show everyone the place where your photos were taken by adding Geo-Tags and placing photos in Google Earth Globe.
