Paintslate is a useful painting program,which has been designed to be easy-to-use and is suitable for anyone who wants to draw. The big difference is in the interface, which is completely redesigned to be unique.

Paintslate has many drawing tools such as pencils, sprays, smudge tools and has a wide range of colours that you can choose from. In addition to the drawing tools, you can also place and reform pre-established shapes, like circles, squares, lines, stars and many others. It will give you the ability to add backgrounds and scenes to your picture. The application comes with some pre-installed backgrounds, some of them based on animals and seasons, but you can also import your own backgrounds very easily.

Paint Slate has a selection of paper sizes that you can choose for your drawings, such as A4 and A3. Once you have finished your painting, you can add several special effects to it. You can apply an effect to any part of your drawing: simply select the effect and paint it over your image. A new feature in this version is called 'Milo' and allows you to make flash or web-based slide-shows. It has been optimised to run with touch screen technology.
