Jockersoft SplitFile is a powerful application that can theoretically split files of over 8,500,000,000 GB into smaller files that are easier to transfer and store. For example, you can use this program to split a DVD movie and store it in 3 or 4 CDs.

Jockersoft SplitFile includes a lot of presets to fit files to standard storage devices, from 1.44MB floppy disks to 30GB HD DVDs, including 800MB CDs and even the not-so-common ZIP disks, but you can also set the required size manually. You can then use it the join the little files together again. It works really fast and it is very reliable, and will really help you handle, transfer and backup files easily. Please keep in mind that the individual parts you've created with Jockersoft SplitFile will not function, unless you join (merge) them again.
