Guitar Pro

Guitar Pro is a full-featured suite for musicians. It has capabilities to edit tablatures for basses, guitars and other fretted musical instruments from four to eight strings. Even though it is a very complete program, it can be used with ease. It provides new support for instruments such as the drums or the piano along with various interactive tools, a realistic audio engine and multi-track support.

The suite brings a new interface that neatly shows all the essential tools for creating and editing scores, adjusting sound and playing instruments. Six retractable panels for multiple tasks will appear on the left side of your scores. You can add all popular musical symbols and access over 100 soundbanks, besides of counting on more than 50 effects, amps and pedals.

That´s not it, the program provides several pre-sets for all styles. It is possible to configure effect chains. There´s a large quantity of notation elements included. The RSE (Realistic Sound Engine) technology offers realistic instruments recordings from studio.

For precise play back experiences, Guitar Pro has enhanced play back options. It is possible to adjust tempo. When playing a file back, the score is capable of automatically scrolling on, then a highlighted cursor lets you know the notes being currently play. If you wish to practice a complex riff or a solo you can use the Speed Trainer to play any part of the score in Loops.

From the Soundboard, you may adjust the panoramic, volume and even the semi parametric equalizer for each of the tracks.  It is also possible to mute multiple tracks or only a single track.

Guitar Pro can import and export to MIDI or ASCII. The WAV export option lets you convert an archive into an audio archive. You can also export to PDF and PNG.
