Far Cry is a really attractive FPS game with a really interesting story behind all the shooting and the killing. You play the role of Jack Carver, ex-US Special Forces, who is escorting a female journalist to a remote island where her uncle works. As soon as you get there, she is kidnapped by local monsters, which really are genetically modified islanders.

Far Cry features high quality graphics and great sound effects, which play an important role other than just making the game attractive. You will have to rescue Valerie, the journalist, by completing a series of missions over the island. And of course are the classic elements of FPS games present here too: you will play in different environments, and you will find a variety of weapons throughout the game.
