My CD-ROM drive was working properly until one reboot
where the OS claims the registry is corrupted. Ever since
then everything is working okay except for the CD-ROM drive.
According to the device manager, my registry is corrupted
and that the CD-ROM drive is not recognizable. I tried
uninstalling the device, reinstalling a new driver, unplugging the physical hardware from the motherboard, but nothing works. My CD-ROM drive is still unrecognizable. If you know a solution, please let me know. Thanks in advance.
p.s. my OS is windows 2000.
