I am having this same problem on a friends PC. I have found no solutions what so ever not even other descriptions of the problem other than here.
New MOBO? New HD? What does anyone think? Formatting obviously hasn't worked and neither has Windows XP repair (which is basically good for nothing anyways).
If anyone knows, please help.

yoo yoo happened to me today.I booted from floppy drive with a dos disk, deleted partition and formated, then booted from cd and reinstalled windows. At first tried booting from cd which works but once windows is prepared and restarts get same message yoo yoo.I tried loads of tricks assumed it was virus so took memory out.took battery out to clear bios none worked.only the above worked for me.have not found out what it is though.
