If you are an electronic engineering student or if you are already an fully educated and professional electronic engineer, then you should have heard of SPICE, a group of simulation programs for integrated circuits, and you might even use them in your daily work. AIM-Spice stands for Automatic Integrated Circuit Modeling Spice, and is actually the new version of Spice.
AIM-Spice includes the same features of previous version of Spice, like its ability to calculate DC operating points, locate poles and zeros of different transfer function, perform transient analyzes, perform Fourier noise, analyze distortions and many more, but it also provides new amazing and powerful features.
AIM-Spiced plots graphically circuit variables during a test, thus displaying simulation results while in progress. You can select the circuit variables that you want to monitor, and the values will be displayed in real time. Additionally, it now includes new semiconductor device models, like heterostructure diodes, heterojunction bipolar transistors, and several MOSFETs. It also offers many other features that we hope will help you in your professional life.
